Evidence - Based Practise
Dr Anne Dabrow Woods, Chief Nurse of the Health, Learning, Research and Practice division of Wolters Kluwer, will be opening with a keynote presentation on Evidence - Based Practise before handing over to James Taylor.
3 pm: Afternoon tea

Tools update: The Ovid Reminer has been updated and relabelled the Ovid Citation Analyser, with improvements to make it simpler to import citations into the tool. In addition we have launched the Ovid Pharmacovigilance Tool for supporting primarily pharmacovigilance monitoring searches, but which is useful for any form of pharmaceutical research. This session will provide an update on these tools and a practical workshop. Duration: 30 minutes
Q&A with James
Web development for the library: building on the filters development covered in previous PD events, this session will show how to take the next step of implementing a filter in a link or search box that can be shared and used by all researchers. The session will include a workshop where we add some simple javascript to produce our own filter widget. No coding experience is required, sample HTML files and an instruction manual will be provided. Duration: 30 minutes
