I am notifying all Health Libraries Inc. members that the 2023 AGM will be held on Friday 20^th October in conjunction with the Health Libraries Australia and Health Libraries Inc. National Conference 2023.

Place: Auditorium, William Angliss Institute Conference Centre, 555 La Trobe Street, Melbourne, Vic, 3000

The AGM Agenda and proxy voting form will be distributed to members following the close of nominations for Committee Members.

Nominations are now being accepted for the Health Libraries Inc Committee. Per the Model Rules for an Incorporated Association, all current roles will be spilled at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting and be declared vacant.  Nominations are sought for the following roles:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Membership Co-ordinator
Website Co-ordinator
Social Media Co-Ordinator
General Committee Members

We are looking for people who have a long-term vision for HLI and who would help it move forward as it continues to advocate for health libraries and their dedicated workforce. The workload is minimal and it would give you the opportunity to connect with your peers and colleagues as you contribute more broadly to the development of libraries and librarianship within the healthcare sector. The committee’s main focus is organising the highly regarded annual conference, and it is an ideal way for early career librarians to make those crucial professional connections, and for more experienced professionals to expand their networks.
