Health Libraries Inc acknowledges the important role professional development plays in the progress and ongoing viability of our profession. To assist our members to participate in a professional development activity in an area relevant to health librarianship HLi is offering grants up to the amount of $2,000 to attend a professional development activity such as a conference, course or workshop. The funds may be put toward any aspect of attending the selected event including registration fees, accommodation and travel1.
The award is named after Mrs Patricia Nakouz (1922-2003), an outstanding pioneer of health sciences librarianship in Victoria, whose memory we honour for her important contributions to the profession.
Award recipients will be required to prepare and present a paper at an HLI Conference or other HLi event to share key topics from the conference with HLi members.
Applications for the award close on 23 June 2024. Recipients will be announced shortly thereafter.
