Website

The HLi website has been re-designed to reflect a modern library association and our focus on the annual conference in Melbourne each year.

Joint Conference – ALIA HLA and HLi

We are working closely with ALIA Health Libraries Australia (HLA) to organise a joint conference for health libraries in Melbourne later this year. This will be the first face-to-face HLi conference since 2019. We hope that as many library teams as possible will attend together.

Save the date!

The conference will be held over two days on Thursday and Friday 19-20 October 2023. It will include conference presentations and workshops.

Call for abstracts

Abstracts are now invited for workshops, presentations (25 minutes) and lightning talks (10 minutes) on the below theme. Submissions can be made via this form by Friday 9 June 2023.

Evolving – Digital literacy, Digital health, Digital scholarship

Demand for digital tools, content and skills continues to be a driving force behind ongoing change in health libraries. Validating this shift in how we think about services and the move to online, this conference will celebrate examples of change and transformation.

Outreach – Engaging with clients and promoting services

Upskilling – Digital skills in roles and teams

Inequities – What are they and how can we respond?

Regards,

Alice Anderson
HLi President
